TV Times Awards Favourite Presenter Nominees
Paul O'Grady
Just recently, tea-time favourite Paul revealed that Lady Gaga wanted him to be in one of her music videos. Actually she was after Lily Savage rather than his real persona, but who knew that the 56-year-old presenter was so cool? Well, any of the legions of fans who tune into his ITV chat show, of course. Away from the chat couch, Lily also made a reappearance in panto earlier this year.
Ant and Dec
You're Simon Cowell and you have a hot new game show concept for ITV. It's called Red or Black? It's going to be stripped across weeknights, it will be full of tension, and it could net the contestants £1m. Who do you turn to? Ant and Dec, naturally. The dynamic duo are back to what they do best - presenting top live TV. And they'll hardly be off our screens this autumn. I'm A Celebrity... returns in November, and there are rumours of a 10th anniversary special for 2012 featuring past favourites.
Phillip Schofield
Weekday breakfasts would be unthinkable without the presence of a certain silver fox. 'Schofe', who - rather incredibly - turns 50 next year, has occupied that This Morning couch for nearly a decade now. He's an equally assured and friendly pair of hands in the evenings with thrilling game show The Cube, which picked up a Bafta in May.
Alex Jones
Lovely Alex has thrived on flagship early evening favourite The One Show, particularly since the arrival of Matt Baker. In May, she also polished her CV by popping up on Eurovision to deliver that all-important verdict from the UK's voting public. And she's also taken on Strictly Come Dancing!
Sir Bruce Forsyth
At 83 not out, Bruce continues to prove that age is no barrier to a stellar career on the box - or even the odd wiggly dance-step when the occasion calls for it. In January, he added another feather to his cap when The Queen asked him to waltz over to Buckingham Palace for a knighthood. And of course he's currently entertaining millions by fronting Strictly Come Dancing. Didn't he do well?
Lorraine Kelly
It's been another busy 12 months for Lorraine. And we're not just talking about her magazine show, which dispenses daily advice on everything from food to finance, with some juicy celebrity interviews thrown in. She is also of course the narrator of Raa Raa the Noisy Lion, one of CBeebies' finest shows. Just another example of the friendly Scot's versatility.
