'Jack Bauer will never die in 24' (VIDEO)

Jack Bauer won't be killed off in the TV series of 24, according to the show's executive producer.
Speaking exclusively to whatsontv.co.uk Jon Cassar said: “At one point Kiefer and I were going around in interviews saying 'Jack’s got to die!'”
“But then they said ‘We want to make feature films’ and at that point we said, ‘Oh, there’s no way Jack’s going to die’."
“We wouldn’t want to kill him in the TV series and then not be able to do feature films,” he added.
The hit US show, which stars Kiefer Sutherland as a maverick anti-terrorist agent, was adapted into a two-hour TV film called 24: Redemption in November last year.
“Before Redemption there was a lot of doubt about whether we could do it or whether it could be written,” said Jon.
And 24’s minute-for-minute format would pose some unusual challenges for a full-length movie.
Jon said: “It’s incredibly difficult to shoot in real-time. You have to show so much more than on any other TV show. That’s why everybody is on the first floor in 24 because the elevator ride would be way too long!”
Season 7 of 24 is currently showing on Sky1 on Mondays at 9pm.
