Justin Bieber denies being a 'brat' on CSI set

Justin Bieber has denied claims he behaved like a 'brat' on the set of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

The 17-year-old singer - who made his acting debut on the crime drama last autumn - recently reprised his role as a troubled teenager in the show.

Marg Helgenberger, who plays CSI supervisor Catherine Willows told French radio show Le Grand Direct des Medias: "I probably shouldn't say this, but he was kind of a brat."

Justin wrote on Twitter: "It's kinda lame when someone you met briefly and never worked with comments on you. I will continue to wish them luck and be kind."

He went on: "Even last week they had me scolded on a plane in the news because I wasn't in my seat fast enough. She was right and I sat down. That's news?

"I know who I am and sometimes people r just going 2 say what they want. Keep ur head up and be the man ur mama raised.

"Rumours are just that...rumours. In the end if you just be kind and be yourself people will know who you are. That goes for anyone I think."

Marg said Justin was nice to her in the one scene they shared during filming for CSI.

But she claimed: "He locked one of the producers in a closet. And he put his fist through a cake that was on the craft services table."

Justin won't be returning to the show as his character was shot and killed during a stand-off with police.
