Hey! Mr. Pibb!

Patty works to clear Purcell of any wrongdoing in his wife's murder. She tracks down Christine's missing ruby ring, which leads to junkie Kevin Walker, whom Purcell IDs in a police line-up. Patty's belief in Purcell grows to the point that she tells her son Michael the scientist is his biological father and the pair meet at Purcell's home. And in flashback to the night of Christine's murder, Purcell has another of those night-time appointments in a creepy man's car – this time with Sutry's henchman, 'The Deacon' (American comedian Darrell Hammond), a ruby ring and the ill-fated Walker...
