I Knew Your Pig

As Patty begins to piece together the murder of Daniel Purcell's wife, she suspects Purcell of withholding vital information. No intellectual slouch himself, Purcell is all too aware Patty's using him to unlock UNR's toxic secrets and refuses to divulge any more company secrets, but Patty has ways of making people talk...
The police, meanwhile, unearth files from a family court case revealing that some years earlier Purcell was the subject of a restraining order after he was accused of beating up his late wife. But the scientist swears he didn't kill Christine and claims the ruby ring she was wearing on the night of her murder is missing.
Ellen's also sure there's more to the Purcell case than meets the eye and pumps her old confidante Hollis Nye (Philip Bosco) for information that leads to a decades'-old secret from Purcell and Patty's past. Flashbacks reveal the pair were lovers and Purcell is the father of Patty's son, Michael, but is it as simple as that?
Concerned for Purcell's safety, the unfathomable Claire Maddox encourages him to flee the country. An anonymous tip-off ensures the cops are waiting for him at JFK – as Patty says, 'People talk more when they're locked up.'
Far away from the New York skyline, journalist Josh Reston (Matthew Davis) is snooping around a livestock farm in West Virginia, before taking a water sample from the nearby UNR coal plant.
