Uh Oh. Out Come The Skeletons
Sunday, 19 April 2009 22:20 BBC1

Lester comes to the fore as the charismatic conspirator pursues his campaign to get Phil to accept the position as the Energy Secretary – introducing a nice conflict of interest in the Hewes/Grey household – but Patty and her hubby are more concerned about their first meeting with Michael's girlfriend. Patty jokes about piercings and tattoos, but the laughing soon stops when Michael's art-gallery owner date, Jill, turns out to be closer to Patty's age than his own.
Lester's powers of persuasion have more immediate returns with Kendrick, who reluctantly agrees to settle the UNR suit and gets Maddox on the case. Unfortunately for Kendrick, however, Maddox learns a lot more about her seemingly benevolent boss than is in his interest. Furious at being outsmarted by Patty, Maddox quickly uncovers the truth about the hooker case, the rogue trader and, with the help of old flame Purcell, the doctored aracite toxicity report.
An old flame causes trouble when Harrison intercepts a call on his fellow agent Werner's mobile phone. He thinks it's Werner's ex-wife Pam – she of the nuisance calls – only to discover that Pam isn't Pam. Pam turns out to be a man with no name who's paying Werner to provide him with regular updates on the FBI's investigation into Patty. Werner offers Harrison in on the deal, but the matter's taken out of both their hands when Harrison's killed and his death is made to look like an overdose. And who's behind it… step up bad old Lester! This man's everywhere!
Meanwhile, Ellen finally tells Wes she's an FBI informant, but even this isn't enough to get Bearded Man off Wes' back. And fast forward three months to see a bloodied, crying and traumatised Patty emerging from Room 1910...
