You Got Your Prom Date Pregnant

Grief-stricken at what she believes is Uncle Pete's martyrdom, Patty goes on the offensive against the FBI. She finally tells Tom what's been going on and he offers to find out what the FBI's up to – courtesy of his sister, who just happens to be an assistant US attorney.

Surprisingly, she fails to unearth any files on Patty or Hewes & Associates, information that Ellen quickly relays to Harrison and Werner. They're equally as bemused – until they discover their boss has the file (which doesn't look nearly big enough) in his top drawer!

Kendrick's on the golf course again (does he ever do any work?), but his relaxation is interrupted by Lester, who wants to orchestrate more trading in energy stocks. He also needs to fill the recently vacated post of Energy Secretary and decides that Patty's husband Phil is his man. Will the super smoothy be seduced by the power and politics?

Wes is also involved with matters of the heart. His and Ellen's group grief counsellor tries to keep them apart, which spurs him on to ask Katie out on a date and pump her for information about Frobisher's involvement in David's murder (she duly obliges, of course, landing Ellen right in it). But Katie realises that what Wes really wants is Ellen. And, finally, Ellen realises that what she really wants is Wes. There'll be no going back for either of them...

Bearded Man, meanwhile, is doing what he does best. Giving orders. And he obviously has something on Wes. Thing is, is it big enough for Wes to carry out the bearded one's demand to 'take out' Ellen?
