Eva Longoria Parker has decided to go back to school to learn more about her Mexican roots – by studying a Master's programme in Chicano studies and political science.
She told Hola magazine that she wants to "learn more about the history of the country we come from".
The Desperate Housewives star said she was also working on her Spanish language skills.
The actress's family is originally from Monterrey in northern Mexico and Eva played her first Spanish speaking role in Mexican film Days of Grace last month.
