Desperate Housewives star in Piranha horror

News has just broken in Hollywood that Ricardo Chavira - who plays Carlos Solis in the hit US series Desperate Housewives - has been cast in the horror blockbuster Piranha 3D.
Filming is due to begin in Arizona in the next few weeks on this remake of the classic 1978 film Piranha, in which unsuspecting holidaymakers at a lakeside summer resort were terrorised and chewed to death by the killer fish.
Ricardo will star alongside established Hollywood film actors Richard Dreyfuss and Elisabeth Shue.
The fishy horror should make our cinema screens some time in 2010.
