A humiliating business!

Keith wants girlfriend Bree to finally meet his parents so he takes her along to a restaurant where she greets his father, retired army man Richard (played by former Dukes Of Hazzard star John Schneider). Things get awkward, however, when she’s introduced to Keith’s mum Mary. It turns out Mary’s the doctor Bree saw a few days previously about her hot flushes and the menopause. Mary’s not keen on an older woman dating her son, so she gets drunk and gives her husband and son some clues about Bree’s secret problems.

Eventually, the housewife is forced to admit what she’s going through, and after a heart to heart with Keith, tells him she doesn’t want kids again, even to adopt.

Susan’s mortified when she thinks she’s being offered a job at Lynette and Renee’s new interior design business, but is offered the job of nanny to Lynette’s baby instead. Then Renee’s gets annoyed at Susan for getting above herself and suggesting an idea to their first client. G

aby manages to get Bob and Lee back together again. And Beth finally sleeps with Paul, and we find out who her mother really is – the sister of the woman murdered by Paul, who is using her daughter as part of a revenge plan.
