Julia Stiles relished Dexter kill scenes
23/08/2011 - 10:15

Julia Stiles has revealed how much she enjoyed the murder scenes in Dexter.
The actress has received an Emmy nomination for her role as victim-turned-revenge killer Lumen in the crime series, joining John Lithgow (who picked up an Emmy) and Jimmy Smits, who was also nominated.
"I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the kill scenes and the sacredness of them. In the kill room, when she first gets to put the knife in. That was really special. As a fan of the show, I felt very privileged to be a part of them," she told the Hollywood Reporter.
"I was really excited by the idea that she would be involved in Dexter's secret life, as opposed to on the outside of it like a lot of the other characters."
Julia's character leaves Dexter by the end of the series, and she said she doesn't know if the door would be open to her.
"I have no idea, only because I don't know if it makes sense for the show. It's out of my hands. So we'll see," she added.
