As Lumen and Dexter made plans to kill Chase, Dexter realised that they were being filmed. After wrongly suspecting Chase, he discovered it was someone from his own police department, and pinpointed Quinn.
LaGuerta told Deb to find a connection between Chase and the other men and Deb revealed her theory that one of the Barrel Girls escaped and has been killing the abusers, possibly with help.
Dexter searched Quinn’s apartment and discovered pictures of he and Lumen dumping Harmon’s body in the marina.
After Deb told Dexter that Quinn was suspicious about his involvement in Rita’s death, he prepared to kill Quinn, but instead was caught and tied up by Liddy, who bundled him into the back of his surveillance van.
After receiving a call from Emily, Lumen went over to Emily’s house where she was shocked to find Chase waiting. As Lumen tried to escape, Chase knocked Emily to the ground.
After fighting and overcoming Liddy, and then avoiding Quinn, Dexter raced to Emily’s to find her dead – and Chase and Lumen missing.
