Dexter attended one of Jordan Chase’s seminars to check it out and Cole Harmon let him know that Chase spotted him from the stage and wanted to speak with him. Chase told Dexter he knew that he came to the rally to cope with the loss of his wife, and Dexter went along with the story.

Deb and Quinn watched LaGuerta’s press conference on the TV news and Deb learned that she had been placed on immediate suspension pending the results of the internal investigation into the death of Carlos Fuentes.

Meanwhile, Liddy deliberately caused a minor traffic accident with Lumen in order to take her name and address, supposedly for insurance reasons. Liddy then told Quinn all he knew about Lumen, and demanded more money.

Meanwhile, Lumen met her former fiancé Owen who wanted her to travel the world with him, but she eventually decided to reject his offer.

Dexter attended another Chase rally, and was called up on the stage where he told the audience how the Trinity Killer murdered his wife. Harmon noticed Lumen watching and chased her into her hotel room where he started to choke her. Dexter arrived just in the nick of time, tied up Harmon and killed him.

As Dexter was leaving the hotel with Harmon dismembered in his suitcase, Chase came up to him and thanked him for coming up on stage, saying ‘Tick, tick, tick, that’s the sound of your life running out’ – causing Dexter to realise that Chase was indeed one of the men who abused Lumen.

As he and Lumen dumped Harmon’s body in the sea, he told her they should kill Chase. But unbeknown to them, Liddy was photographing them. How much did he see?
