Joss Whedon's fantasy drama Dollhouse has apparently been cancelled.
The show - which stars Eliza Dushku - ends after its current 13-episode order, with the series finale scheduled to air in the US on January 22, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"Yes. Cancelled. Sad but true," tweeted Maurissa Tancharoen, a writer on Dollhouse who is married to Whedon's brother Jed Whedon, also a writer on the show.
Dollhouse is about a high-tech prostitution service, with Eliza starring as an escort who can be implanted with different personalities.
Created by Whedon, best known for Buffy The Vampire Slayer, the series arrived last February with great fanfare, but struggled to find an audience.
