Belonging

The team discover that, before entering the Dollhouse, Sierra was an Australian artist named Priya who had spurned the advances of the wealthy Nolan Kennard. The rejected, but well-connected doctor had then drugged her to the point of schizophrenia and arranged her entry into the Dollhouse against her will, and has been employing her repeatedly to satisfy his fantasies.

Adele DeWitt becomes aware of the situation and confronts Kennard but his powerful friend, Dollhouse official Matthew Harding, forces DeWitt to allow Kennard access to the unfortunate Sierra.

However, Topher is having none of it and puts into play an elaborate rescue, with murderous results. Before she's handed over, Topher imprints Sierra with her original personality and she takes her revenge on the evil Kennard, stabbing him to death.
