The Left Hand

Adelle, Boyd and Topher continue to unravel the Rossum Corporation conspiracy and try to rescue Echo from the DC Dollhouse. As DC programmer Bennet Halverson tortures Echo, taking revenge for a perceived previous injustice, Perrin begs his 'wife'/handler Cindy not to imprint him, though his pleading falls on deaf ears.

Adelle, with Topher in tow, forces DC boss Stewart Lipman to release Echo, and Topher meets with Bennet, who impresses him with her ideas to modify his disruptor to target individual Actives. While she's distracted, Topher establishes a link to the LA office where Victor, programmed with Topher’s persona, attempts to access Bennet's files and Perrin's brain map.

Meanwhile, Perrin escapes from the facility, taking Echo with him, and heads back to his house – he still means to take down the Dollhouse. Topher and Bennet tap the disruptor into the biolink to close down the escaped Actives but Bennet uploads an assassin profile into Perrin, who suddenly turns on Echo! Then Cindy arrives at the house but Perrin kills her henchmen and chokes her to death, just as Topher realises what’s happened and interrupts Perrin’s program.

Perrin heads straight for the Senate Inquiry where Madeleine waits to testify, but his old imprint kicks in and, instead of exposing the Dollhouse, he tells the inquiry that the Rossum Corporation has been set up by its competitors. He says the Dollhouse does not exist and claims Madeleine has been in a mental institution for the past three years. With that, he departs, leaving the inquiry in turmoil.

Madeleine is taken to the DC Dollhouse and forcibly re-imprinted, while Echo has vanished from the Dollhouse's radar…
