Back to Where You’ve Never Been (VIDEO)

Peter’s desperate to return to his own timeline and realises the only way he’ll be able to do that is to reactivate the doomsday machine. Meanwhile, Fringe Division investigates another attack by the new form of shapeshifters.

With Walter still terrified of him and refusing to help, Peter seeks Olivia and Lincoln’s help in sneaking over to the other universe and asking Walternate for assistance. Lincoln and Olivia agree to help him on the condition that Lincoln goes with Peter in order to infiltrate the other world’s fringe division to find out who is sending the shapeshifters.

Peter and Lincoln cross over, but are soon caught by Walternate’s men – and one of the arresting agents receives instructions to kill them. They escape, and Peter tracks down his mother, who helps him get to Walternate.

Peter is convinced Walternate is behind the attempt on his life, but the viewers discover that the over there Broyles is working with terrorist David Richard Jones and is creating the shapeshifters.

Walternate agrees to help Peter so long as he tells the Fringe Division in our world that Walternate is not to blame for the shapeshifters and wants to help destroy them.

Meanwhile, Olivia receives a visit from an Observer who tells her that no matter which timeline they happen to be in, she has to die.
