Heroes star Greg Grunberg and Hugh Laurie have formed a rock band with Desperate Housewives' Teri Hatcher to raise money for charity.
Band From TV - featuring Teri on vocals along with Desperate Housewives' co-star James Denton on guitar, Hugh on keyboards and Greg on drums - have raised $2 million from live performances for their nominated charities.
Greg, who plays Matt Parkman in the hit US series Heroes, described Hugh Laurie as 'brilliant', but said they didn't consider themselves real rock stars.
Greg said: "We have incredible musicians backing us up who have played with Chicago and The Eagles and Bruce Springsteen... because we're not idiots and I don't really play!"
The actor also revealed how the TV actors' supergroup hoped to play in the UK soon.
The actor talked to whatsontv.co.uk with fellow Heroes stars, Brea Grant (speedy villain Daphne Millbrook) and David H Lawrence XVII (The Puppet Master Eric Doyle) at the London Expo movie and comic book convention this weekend.
