Edelstein: 'Cuddy wants House AND Lucas' (VIDEO)

The sixth season of House ended on Sunday night - with a major twist in the grumpy medic's relationship with Dr Lisa Cuddy.

In the season six finale, Lisa reveals to House that she's engaged to Lucas Douglas, a private investigator hired by House in season five.

But in the episode's final moments it's actually House that Cuddy is kissing!

Speaking to whatsontv.co.uk, Lisa Edelstein - who plays Cuddy in the hit US drama shown on Sky1 - revealed that she knows why Cuddy is attracted to both House and Lucas.

She said: "To me, Lucas is one of those relationships you have when you just wish you could have a normal relationship.

"I've had relationships with guys where I thought I should because, on paper, they're what you're supposed to be with.

"But who you are really, truly attracted to is not something you can actually decide. So I think, against her will, who [Cuddy] would like to be with is House. But, on paper, who she'd like to be with is Lucas."

Season six is due for release on DVD in September.
