Hugh Laurie becomes face of L'Oreal

Hugh Laurie has signed up to join Beyonce and Cheryl Cole as a face of L'Oreal.
The British actor and blues singer - known for playing a dishevelled doctor in hit drama House - has been unveiled as the new male ambassador for the cosmetics brand, The Independent reports.
Hugh said: "At first I thought it was a mistake but then I realised that L'Oreal wasn't looking for models, but real people with strong personalities, who are worth it... and who aren't afraid to proclaim that using cosmetics can be a very masculine decision after all."
The 51-year-old star joins Hollywood hunks Gerard Butler and Patrick Dempsey as an ambassador for L'Oreal Paris and will soon be appearing in adverts for its Men Expert products.
Cyril Chapuy, global brand president of L'Oreal Paris, said Hugh was "the perfect example of a modern man: genuine, uninhibited, strong and willing to pursue his passions to the end".
