Hugh steps up 'Stephen Fry for House' campaign

Hugh Laurie is continuing his efforts to get Stephen Fry a guest spot on his hit US show House.
After dropping hints on Jonathan Ross's chat show recently, the actor has stepped up his campaign to get his former comedy partner acting alongside him once again.
"I can only oil the wheels as much as I can and I keep dropping his name," Hugh said before taking part in a special Q&A with fans at the The Paley Centre for Media in LA.
"I keep saying, 'He's all right, really, despite what you may think', but it's obviously a question of finding the right role, the right moment."
Hugh added: "The bloke's never off the television. He's off doing documentaries around the world about the panda or whatever it is. He's quite hard to get and very expensive. I'm not sure we could afford him!"
But it sounds like Hugh's hard work may be starting to pay off. House's creator David Shore confessed it's a match he's keen to see on the show.
"Stephen Fry I'd love to see. It is such a huge thing that I wouldn't want to do it unless it was absolutely right, but I want to do it and I want to do it absolutely right."
