Ab Aeterno

Some of the island’s most baffling secrets are finally set to be revealed as the back story of Richard Alpert – Jacob’s mysterious follower – is revealed.

He’s spent more than 50 years on the island, venturing off occasionally to recruit people to Jacob’s cause, yet he appears never to have aged. He claims this is because of a gift Jacob gave him, but does this mean the other candidates now have similar powers?

And finally we’ll learn whether Richard really came to the island on the Black Rock prison ship, and discover more about the relationship between him and the Man in Black.
