Evangeline Lilly not quitting Lost

Evangeline Lilly is not leaving Lost, despite reports that her character was going to be killed off on the show.

The actress, who plays Kate Austen on the hit US series, was reported to be auditioning for other pilot TV shows.

But Evangeline has denied the rumour, telling E!: "I am very happy on Lost and have no reason to look anywhere else for a home."

A representative for the actress also confirmed the rumours were 'absolutely false'.

"We have no idea how this rumour got started. And whoever started it didn't call us to verify the validity of it, for which there is none," said the spokesperson.

Lost is set to reach a conclusion in the US in 2010.
