Lost star signs for Hawaii Five-0 remake

Lost star Daniel Dae Kim is the first actor cast in the remake of hit cop series Hawaii Five-0.

CBS told The Honolulu Advertiser that the actor - who plays Jin in the plane crash drama - will portray detective Chin Ho Kelly, who was originally played by the late Kam Fong.

A CBS spokeswoman said filming on the Hawaii Five-0 pilot is expected to begin in March.

Hawaii Five-0 aired from 1968 to 1980 and starred Jack Lord as Steve McGarrett. So far there's no word on who will play McGarrett in the remake.
