The Last Recruit

On the island, Jack confronts the fake Locke who reveals that it was he who appeared to Jack as his father Christian Shepherd. Jack is reunited with Claire and finally acknowledge each other as brother and sister, while Locke orders Sayid to kill Desmond.

When Locke tells Sawyer to collect a boat from the other side of the island, Sawyer spots a chance to escape. He and the Flight 815 survivors manage to get away on the boat and head to Hydra Island where Widmore is waiting. But after a row, Jack jumps off the boat after deciding that the island isn't done with him yet.

Jack is reunited with Locke, just as Widmore bombards the main island with missiles. On Hydra Island, the gang are betrayed by Widmore whose henchmen take them hostage. However, Sun and Jin are finally reunited.

In the alternative timeline, Desmond brings Jack and Claire together, but Jack has to rush off to operate on Locke. Sun and Jin are also at the hospital, while Sawyer and Miles have to arrest Sayid. The gang are gradually being brought together…
