ITV2's Supernatural gets a fifth series
25/02/2009 - 10:12

America's CW TV network has given the greenlight to six of its most successful dramas, including Supernatural, for the 2009-10 season.
The news means that teen dramas Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill and 90210 will all definitely be back next year, and guarantees a fifth series of the spooky cult drama Supernatural and a ninth series of Smallville.
Meanwhile, CW's reality TV show America's Next Top Model - shown in the UK on Living - will also return.
"By securing these signature hits for next season, we’re furthering our commitment to deliver high-quality, original programming to our viewers," says Dawn Ostroff, entertainment president at The CW.
