Two and a Half Men

While Dean moves Lisa and Ben into a new home, Sam is in Lansing, Michigan, investigating the case of a missing baby and the death of its parents. At the scene of another double murder, Sam has a close encounter with a mysterious creature before finding a baby. Sam then calls on his brother, who is frightening both Lisa and Ben with his OCD-type behaviour. Dean doesn't want to have Sam back in his life, but when he learns about the baby, he goes to meet his brother.

While picking up baby supplies at a supermarket, an elderly woman turns out to be a shape-shifter who tries to steal the infant. At a local motel, Dean starts bonding with the child, which surprises his brother.

But while Sam goes to see the baby’s supposed father, Dean is shocked to find the child is actually a shape-shifter and has taken on a new form. When another shifter attacks, Sam arrives in time to kill it.

They take the baby to Samuel's compound, but Dean doesn',t trust his grandfather or the Campbell hunters to take care of the child. Suddenly a shifter bursts in, chokes Dean unconscious, and takes the infant.

Samuel then explains that it was the Alpha shape-shifter, the first one that spawned all of the rest. Later, and in secret, he calls someone about how he failed to capture the Alpha, but promises to find it and bring it in.

Dean returns home where he has a heart-to-heart with Lisa about being a hunter before deciding to rejoin Sam. Lisa tells him to return home when he can.
