Bill discovers that Marnie is trying to reanimate dead things, which means she could soon possess the power to control vampires. He sends Eric to deliver a warning to the coven, but things don’t go to plan.
Sookie is still furious that Eric owns her house and tells him that this does not mean he owns her. She asks Bill for help in getting the house back, while flashbacks explain Bill’s secret past with Nan Flanigan and her campaign to move vampirism into the mainstream.
Jason finds himself in a dangerous situation at the farm as Felton and Crystal reveal their evil plan for him. And Tara returns to Bon Temps to visit Sookie, but becomes embroiled in a deadly predicament.
