Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer engaged

True Blood co-stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are engaged, according to reports.

People.com revealed that representatives for both actors had confirmed that the couple are engaged to be married, but no further details were available.

New Zealander Anna, who plays telepathic Sookie Stackhouse in the US vampire thriller, and Englishman Stephen officially announced they were a item back in February.

Last month, Anna, 27, said of her nude love scenes with Stephen: "Obviously, if you're already with that person then you're not having to sort of get over the 'Wow, I'm naked with someone that I don't even know the middle name of!'"

Anna is the second youngest person to have ever won an Oscar. She was 11 when she won Best Supporting Actress for The Piano in 1984.

Stephen, 39, who plays bloodsucking Bill Compton in the show, has two children from previous relationships: a son, Billy, born in 2000, and daughter, Lilac, born in 2002.

True Blood currently screens on Fridays at 10pm on FX.
