'I'm proud to be the Emmy nominated Ashley Jensen'

Ugly Betty star Ashley Jensen admitted she wasn't too disappointed about missing out on her first-ever Emmy award.
Speaking at HBO's post-award show party, the actress confessed she hadn't really taken the nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress too seriously:
"Do you know I'm alright about it because it had never really dawned on me that I had a chance of winning. I'm glad I didn't prepare a speech!"
Ashley, 39, was nominated for her role as Maggie Jacobs in Ricky Gervais's Extras: The Extra Special Series Finale, but was beaten by Cranford's Dame Eileen Atkins.
But the actress said she was proud to be the 'Emmy-nominated Ashley Jensen'.
"No one can take that away from me and that was what I felt going in and it's what I felt coming out," she added.
Ashley joked that Ricky Gervais only won awards when he missed the ceremonies, after the US Office star Steve Carrell collected Ricky's trophy for Best Comedy Actor last year.
"He should have maybe not bothered turning up and then we would have won."
