Paula Abdul to cameo in Ugly Betty?

Paula Abdul is rumoured to be in talks to guest star in Ugly Betty.

The star has been flooded with offers since announcing she was quitting the panel of the hit US talent show American Idol, and now E! News reports she may cameo in the comedy, starring America Ferrera.

Sources claim Paula will play a Mode magazine temp who quickly becomes best friends with self-obsessed receptionist Amanda, played by Becki Newton.

Past stars to cameo in Ugly Betty include Lindsay Lohan and Victoria Beckham, who has just filmed her slot as a guest judge on American Idol in Paula's place.

Former singer and choreographer Paula is also said to be in talks with rival US shows Dancing With The Stars and So You Think You Can Dance.
