Be-Shure

Both Betty and Hilda are feeling queasy and both decide to head to the chemist for a pregnancy test, narrowly missing each other and Ignatio, who is also in the shop. Later, their father invites his girlfriend round for dinner and both sisters recognise her as the assistant at the store...

Frantically, they take their tests, but in the commotion they get muddled. Betty picks up a positive reading, leaving Hilda the negative one. Matt comes up to the bathroom and overhears their conversation. Betty explains about the mixed up tests, so Matt agrees to get another so she knows either way. He makes his excuses to leave the party, but comes back to the house, dropping the package on the floor.

After Betty’s negative result, Hilda realises she’s the one who’s pregnant and tries to figure out how to break up with Archie as she’s sure Bobby is the father. Archie gracefully ends the relationship first, much to a relieved Hilda. Meanwhile, Hilda plays it cool with Bobby, but says she’s happy for him to give Justin lifts home.

Wilhelmina is making conjugal visits to Connor in prison. She tells Daniel that she’ll find out where the stolen money is. But she wants her job back. In the meantime, however, Cal has hired Denise, a former Hollywood producer to replace Wilhelmina.

Claire visits South Dakota to find her adopted son Tyler. She finds him in a bar and they chat. Happy that his life is settled, she leaves a $2000 tip for him, but accidentally leaves behind the envelope from the adoption agency addressed to her at Mode.
