Betty learns from a client of Hilda’s that top designer Evan York is moving from Dolce & Gabbana to Gucci and she’s desperate to get an exclusive for Mode.

Marc continues to be jealous of Betty, and vows to steal her job. Wilhelmina encourages him to chase his dream. Marc intercepts a call from Hilda, and finds out that Betty has a special meeting arranged at Ignatio’s restaurant. He suggests to Amanda that she promote herself to Matt by giving him some advice on the fashion industry – over dinner at Ignatio’s restaurant. When Amanda and Matt turn up at the restaurant, Betty gets jealous seeing her colleagues out together and loses focus on her meeting with York. Hilda stirs things up by telling Matt that Betty’s on a date.

Meanwhile, Wilhelmina’s bounty hunter has traced Connor to Bermuda, so she sets off to face him. Connor is clearly ready to pick up where the pair of them left off, but an angry Wilhelmina is not having it. He hands her a mobile to call him if she changes her mind.

Meanwhile, Daniel makes a new friend called Natalie at his support group, who encourages him to live a little.

Back at the office Betty confronts Marc, and tells him to back off. Amanda, too, is annoyed at him for making her look a fool. Marc and Wilhelmina console themselves over their latest defeats.
