The Passion of the Betty
Wednesday, 13 October 2010 21:00 E4

Betty feels stifled by Matt as they're living, working and socialising together. Scenes from Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf start playing on her mind. She decides to help Matt find another interest apart from her.
Meanwhile, Daniel, Wilhelmina and Marc are trying to think of ways to get rid of Denise, the new editor. Marc suggests an interview with fashion reporter Suzuki St Pierre to reveal her lack of industry knowledge. The interview is a success, however, off camera she tells Daniel that fashion is a waste of time, and her views are exposed. Wilhelmina takes no time in offering herself as a replacement.
Betty goes to see an art curator to see if she’d be interested in displaying Matt’s paintings. The curator says his work lacks energy, so Betty invites her to his studio to look at more. The curator finds some paintings that she does like and Betty gives her the green light to take them for the exhibition. Later at the gallery, Betty is horrified to see that all of Matt’s paintings are of her, Matt is equally disgusted that Betty allowed his personal paintings to be displayed. They row and he leaves. Bobby also walks out on Hilda, when she drops the bombshell that she’s pregnant.
Back in the office, Cal turns nasty when he finds out Claire visited their son. Shaken, by his outburst, Claire fires Cal.
Both Bobby and Matt make up with their women and Matt suggests their relationship would be more balanced if he quit Mode.
