The Past Presents the Future
Wednesday, 22 December 2010 21:00 E4

In the first of two back to back episodes, Hilda's wedding approaches. RSVPs have presented problems for Betty who has already invited Daniel as her plus one, but Henry has accepted her invitation too. Mr Dunne arrives at the office to offer Betty a job with a new magazine in London. Amanda, having quit her job as Mode receptionist, arrives to take some office supplies and tells Marc she has a new client, soap actor Spencer Cannon. Amanda hits it off with Spencer and decides he’d be a perfect match for Marc, she tells Marc that he’s coming to Hilda’s wedding as her guest. Justin frets about coming out and goes to visit Marc. Meanwhile, Hilda realises that Justin and Austin are a couple and excitedly calls Ignatio and Betty to arrange a coming out party for her son. Marc insists that a party is not the best plan of action, as Justin needs to come out in his own time…
At the wedding Daniel gazes at Betty realising he might be falling for her. Betty decides to accept the London job and Justin leads Austin on to the dance floor realising its time to be himself. Marc tells Spencer that he’s looking for a serious relationship and Spencer tells him he’s just there as a friend for Amanda. At that moment, Marc notices Spencer’s unusual Tweety Bird tattoo – could he be Amanda’s father?
Wilhelmina realises Tyler has taken her gun and rushes to warn Claire, but she’s too late, Tyler arrives pointing it at Claire. Wilhelmina tries to talk him into putting the gun down but just as he does so, it goes off…
The final episode, Hello Goodbye follows at on E4 at 10pm
