The Weiner, the Bun and the Boob

When Betty is snowed under with work, Wilhelmina causes tension by appointing her rival Marc to assist her. Betty confronts him about the fact that he just can’t accept that she was promoted over him, so the two go into Daniel’s office to ask him how the promotion decision was made. Betty is deflated when Wilhelmina interrupts to tell them it was a flick of a coin. A delighted Marc perks up, calling Betty ‘tails’ and suggests she take a proactive role in their research for the feature ’10 worst jobs in New York’, which should include her dressing up in the uniforms and participating in the dirty work.

Meanwhile, Daniel hires a leggy blonde as his new assistant, who introduces herself to Betty as ‘Lexie, like sexy’. It soon becomes obvious she’s not up to the job, and when Daniel accidentally touches her breast, Clare pleads with him not to fire her as he’d have a lawsuit on his hands.

Daniel reluctantly agrees to go with Natalie to a guru to help him ‘heal himself’ and when he preaches honesty to Daniel, the editor feels challenged to try it out. Back at the office he tells Lexie that he did hire her because she was ‘hot’ and that maybe she should be a model rather than an editorial assistant.

Hilda sends politician boyfriend Archie a sexy picture text of herself and causes a media storm when the photo goes out to everyone on Archie’s email list. Much to his surprise, Hilda’s picture ups his ratings.
