Rachel is a TV and soaps journalist for magazines and the web. For the last 15 years she’s covered the dramas, deaths and disasters of soapland for the likes of What’s On TV, TV Times and Soaplife. She admits to knowing a scary amount of soap-related trivia, from the name of Sharon Mitchell’s childhood dog, to who inherited the late Betty Williams’ famous hotpot recipe (Sean Tully, if you were wondering).
A fairly frequent visitor to the soap sets, she’s enjoyed a cuppa in Corrie’s Roy’s Rolls and afternoon tea in the Emmerdale village hall. Although she’s still holding out for a trip across the pond to the sunny streets of Erinsborough and Summer Bay.
When she’s not writing about or watching soaps, Rachel takes a break from all things drama with long wildflower walks or getting crafty with a bit of weaving and macramé.
