Gerry has apologised to fellow Big Brother housemate Carole for the row which broke out over food in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Tempers flared after Carole refuted Gerry’s claims that he had not had breakfast that day – and he took offence after she swore at him.
On Thursday, after the housemates had been woken, Carole made the first move.
“Gerry, I am sorry I swore at you,” she began. “I’d just been in the Diary Room for a very long time. I’d just gone through loads of stuff and was trying to explain things.”
The 31-year-old promptly apologising for shouting at Carole – whom he had reduced to tears during the argument – but said he had reacted that way because of how she had spoken to him.
“I don’t want anyone to speak to me like that,” he said. “I do not deserve it.”
“Well I remind you that you spoke to Charley like that,” Carole pointed out, before Tracey, who was sitting nearby, joined in saying that Gerry had also spoken to her in similar fashion.
“What I’m saying is that you say you don’t use those words and yet you do,” said Tracey, “So I don’t believe you.”
“Why are you getting involved?” asked an indignant Gerry.
“I’m just saying what I feel, Gerry,” she told him, “In this House you can say those sort of things.”
Looks like this one could run and run….
