The 22-year-old – who enjoyed a close friendship with 21-year-old student Dale before she was evicted from the house – was brought onstage following his eviction interview with Davina – and he was thrilled to see her.
“I missed you so much,” he gasped as the pair shared an embrace, “You look amazing.”
Earlier in the interview Dale admitted that he had been thinking about Jennifersince she left the house five weeks ago. “If I’m honest I’d like to give her a hug,” he told Davina.
And he appeared lost for words when shown footage from Jennifer’s own eviction interview, in which she admitted she loved Dale. “I’m so surprised,” he stuttered after staring at the footage open-mouthed.
Dale – who exited the house to a largely enthusiastic crowd, who cheered him as he left – also admitted he was pleased to be out of the house.
Both he and fellow nominee Stuart had made no secret of the fact that they wanted to go, and earlier in the evening he had cheered when Davina announced he would be leaving.
“It was amazing and I feel so honoured to have been given the chance to go on Big Brother,” he said, “but it’s a long time, and I missed people so much.”
“Even though everybody was saying I’m a nice guy I didn’t want to get in the final and not be nominated. But it’s nice to know people have got nice things to say about you in the house.”
“As soon as I got in the house I knew I wanted to have a good time, and I wanted to leave knowing I’d had a good go at it.”
