Govan Zachariah Hinds has become the second person to get the boot from the Big Brother 11 house in an all-male eviction battle.
The 21-year-old from Leicester – who had been the bookies’ favourite for the chop – scored a whopping 72 per cent of the public vote ahead of fellow nominees Ben, Dave and Mario.
Govan along with Ben and Dave faced the public vote after receiving the most nominations. Shabby was originally nominated but chose Mario to replace her after she triumphed in a task earlier this week.
When announcing the results Davina McCall initially revealed that Mario and Dave were both save and would remain in the house for another week before leaving Govan to battle it out against Ben.
He appeared resigned to his fate and laughed after his name was announced, although the other housemates appeared shocked at the news.
“I don’t believe it,” Corin gasped while John James and Shabby looked close to tears.
However Govan remained calm and was all smiles when he left the house despite exiting to a chorus of boos from the crowd who earlier had been chanting “get Govan out”.
