The Big Brother housemates have welcomed a new arrival into the house, in the shape of property developer Stuart.

The 25-year-old entered the house on Friday evening as a replacement for Alexandra De-Gale, who was removed on Wednesday for her allegedly intimidating behaviour.

She had been nominated for eviction along with Mario but this was cancelled following her sudden departure.

Stuart arrived at the house by motorbike and was greeted warmly by his fellow housemates, although none of them seemed surprised by the newcomer.

“We’ve been waiting all night for you,” Sylvia said while Stuart himself looked overwhelmed. “I’m not going to remember any of you guys’ names,” he admitted after the initial introductions.

Stuart – who has a five-year-old daughter – describes himself as a “loveable rogue”, and has also worked as a nude model and won modelling competitions.

He claims he has “never been in love”, and during his audition footage was accused of wearing mascara, which he denied. “Hard to believe as it is, I really am that pretty,” he said.

He will be immune from next week’s nominations, which are due to take place on Monday.
