Big Brother‘s newest evictee Nicky has admitted that she was “miserable” in the house – because she missed her family.
The 28-year-old – who gained a reputation for being humourless during her time in the house – exited to loud booing and a largely negative response from the crowd.
However, she showed no emotion as she went down the steps from the house to meet Davina and face the photographers.
“I was miserable because I missed home, and I do have my down days, like everybody,” she said later during her interview with Davina McCall.
“I did explain that to them because I didn’t want to make anyone feel uncomfortable, but obviously it has.”
She had an uncomfortable moment of her own during the interview when Davina asked her about her brief friendship with Liam – and denied having ever whispered “marry me” under her breath shortly after he arrived in the house.
“Why would I say that?” she asked. “I did like him at first but there was no other eye candy in the house.”
She did admit, however, she had learned plenty about herself during her time there. “I’ve learnt I can be a little bit snappy,” she said, “and I need to think about the way I’m saying things to people.”
“But sometimes I do have my down days and I don’t think I’m all that bad really.”
