Big Brother: Marcus gets his marching orders!

Marcus Akin has become the eleventh person to be evicted from the Big Brother house – just a week before this year’s final.

The 35-year-old Londoner – who had survived six previous nominations – finally lost out against fellow nominee Siavash, receiving 64 per cent of the public vote.

And he displayed little emotion as Davina announced that he had been booted out.

“Thank f*** for that,” he declared, ignoring the customary warning to housemates not to swear during evictions.

He swiftly hugged his fellow housemates before heading out towards the garden. “I’m coming now, don’t interrupt,” he shouted out to Davina as he paraded towards the door.

In previous weeks Marcus had seen off a whole string of housemates, including Freddie, Kris, Bea and Noirin, with whom he enjoyed a close relationship in the house.

Six housemates – Charlie, David, Lisa, Rodrigo, Siavash and Sophie – remain in the house for the final week and a chance to be crowned series champion.

There will, however, be one last eviction on Tuesday night, ahead of the series. final next Friday.
