Noirin Kelly has become the eighth housemate to be evicted from Big Brother, after losing out to Marcus in the public vote.

The 25-year-old, from Dublin, received 60 per cent of the votes, after being nominated for the third consecutive week. Her departure comes just days after her ex-boyfriend, Isaac Stout, arrived in the house.

She took the news calmly, offering a knowing smile when Davina announced her name, then leapt up forgetting to hug Isaac who was sat by her side.

“Bye babe, see you in a bit,” she said. “Don’t forget my stuff.”

Other housemates, meanwhile, were quick to congratulate Marcus on surviving another eviction. “Well done mate, rock and roll!” Halfwit shouted following the announcement.

The eviction marks the end of a turbulent week for Noirin in the Big Brother house, after her blossoming romance with Siavash was scuppered by Isaac’s arrival.

During her time in the house she also had dalliances with Sree, Tom and Marcus, while Angel admitted to fancying her.
