Big Brother: Pauline Bennett is second housemate to be evicted

After just two weeks in the house, Pauline Bennett became the second housemate to leave the Big Brother house, in losing out in a six-way vote to Marlon Wallen, Chris Hall, Jale Karaturp, Steven Goode and Ash Harrison. Chris and Ash received the fewest votes.

Her eviction was hardly a surprise as she had become unpopular in and out of the house over claims of her being a bully, with Jale being one of her victims.

Pauline, 50, from Wolverhampton, left to huge boos from the crowd but put on a brave face as she waved and smiled for the photographers before she spoke to Big Brother host Emma Willis.

“I put myself here,” she said. “If I hadn’t had my argument with Jale, I wouldn’t have given Chris the rope to hang me with,” she added, in reference to him being the secret Power Housemate.

But Pauline also claimed: “I didn’t do anything wrong. I have no regrets.”

Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.
