And the 21-year-old student – who received 63 per cent of the votes cast – looked thrilled to receive the news that he had gotten the boot.
As Davina announced his name, Dale jumped up, screaming “Yes!” before grabbing nearest housemate Darnell for a hug.
Earlier in the week both Dale and Stuart had revealed that they were happy to be going head to head in the eviction vote.
“If I stay, I’ll be gutted, right, because I’ve stayed and Stu’s gone and he’s been evicted and stuff,” Dale had told Sara.
“But if I go and Stu stays, I’ll be happy, but I’ll be ****** off. I can’t win!” he added.
Stuart, who had said he felt “amazing” at the news of his nomination, showed little emotion at the news that he would be staying in the house.
Dale will leave the Big Brother house later on Friday evening.
