Big Brother: Victoria leaves, Becky arrives

Victoria Eisermann has become the first housemate to be evicted from Big Brother 2012 – only to be replaced by ‘wild card’ housemate Becky Hannon just minutes after leaving.

The 41-year-old lost out after receiving the lowest number of votes from viewers – although host Brian Dowling later revealed that fellow nominee Lydia Louisa had beaten her by just one per cent.

Both Victoria, Lydia and housemate Conor McIntyre were facing the public vote after being nominated by Deana Uppal shortly after they arrived in the house on Tuesday’s launch night.

The twist led to some awkward moments in the house as Deana stumbled through a trio of nominations – eventually choosing Victoria because she claimed she had “evil eyes”.

However the model – who exited the house through the Diary Room after high winds forced the cancellation of the usual outdoor eviction – said she did not mind getting the boot so early on in the series.

“I felt cheated because of the way it happened in the beginning,” she said afterwards, “and Deana has said to me she’s sorry and she wishes she hadn’t chosen me but I’m not that bothered about being evicted.”

She added that she had found things difficult during her short stay in the house, saying, “Seriously you guys don’t know what it’s like being in there…I’m not used to being around loads of people and I needed a little bit more time to loosen up than some people. As much as I like being crazy they were a little bit too crazy for me.

And Victoria also admitted that she had not been that keen on some of her fellow housemates. “I’m not going to be fake and come out here and say I loved everybody because I didn’t.”

Meanwhile, the latest addition to the house is 19-year-old Becky Hannon, a student originally from North Wales, who won the public ‘wild card’ vote ahead of quirky writer Anthony and flamboyant receptionist Bhavesh.

The teenager, who entered the house through the Diary Room – much to the surprise of the others – showed just how excited she was to be there by running through the house into the garden and jumping into the swimming pool fully dressed.
