Speaking at her eviction interview – and having seen the footage of the bust-up prior to Saffia leaving – the 26-year-old said, “On there I do look aggressive, but I didn’t know I was coming across that way.”
“There were four of us who wanted to do one task and she didn’t listen to us, and she came at me.Every situation that ever happened between us in the house she always came up to me, but there was no point starting an argument with her if I had never become a housemate.”
She added that she did not have a problem with being evicted from the house so soon. “The public make the decision, so respect to the public.”
Earlier on in the Diary Room Sophia – who received a frosty reception form the crowd upon her exit – said she was “feeling OK”.
“But it’s been so quick, and I’ve been up for eviction twice in seven days, I can’t take it,” she said.
“This is hard stuff you guys put us through but it’s all been worth it – thank you so much for the opportunity.”
“I just hope no-one’s going to throw eggs and tomatoes at me when I come out.”
