Jade Goody will be christened along with her sons in hospital today, despite being reportedly too ill to even speak.

The Sun reports that the former Big Brother star’s condition has deteriorated rapidly in the past few days and she can now barely stand unaided.

However the paper says she is determined to be at the service in the hospital chapel along with five-year-old Bobby and four-year-old Freddie.

The two boys arrived at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London with their father Jeff Brazier shortly after 11am on Saturday in time for the service, scheduled to take place at noon. Flowers were also delivered to the hospital chapel.

Jade’s husband Jack Tweed also arrived along with her mother Jackiey Budden and members of her family.

The 27-year-old originally planned to hold the ceremony at a church near her home in Essex, followed by a big party for the children – but those plans were shelved after her condition worsened.

“We are hoping and praying that everything can go ahead if shes well enough,” a source told The Mirror. “The strain of her going back to Essex would have been too much for her, but she really wants to have the christening as soon as possible now.”

Around 20-30 close family and friends will attend the service. “There will not be a dry eye,” one friend told The Sun.

Jade’s publicist Max Clifford said the christenings would take place subject to “everything being OK”.

“They are going ahead with the christening at the hospital chapel, which is what she really wants,” he said. “It will be much more low-key than she had planned, but she still hopes there will be a party for the kids at some point.”

“It’s what Jade wanted to do,” Clifford added, “But she’s very weak.”

Jade is reported to have been heavily sedated since undergoing another operation this week to relieve some of her pain.
