Cancer-stricken Jade Goody is set to give fans an intimate glimpse of her wedding to fiance Jack Tweed.

The Big Brother star tied the knot with Jack at a private ceremony in Down Hall, Essex, on February 22, but a camera crew from Living were invited behind-the-scenes to capture the emotional proceedings as they took place.

In the first, hour-long show on Wednesday 11 March – Jade: Bride to Be – viewers will be able to see the star preparing for the big day, trying on her dress for the first time and taking a helicopter ride over the wedding venue.

“I am really excited to be Jack’s bride,” Jade tells the programme. “I just want it all lovely and proper.”

The documentary will be followed the next evening, Thursday 12 March, by a two-hour special covering the wedding itself.

The day reportedly featured a Rolls-Royce arrival, white doves being released to symbolise the couple’s union and a lavish three-course dinner with speeches.

Jade sold the picture and TV rights of the ceremony for nearly £1 million, and hopes to raise as much money as possible for her sons from a previous relationship, Bobby, five, and Freddie, four.

“It was a wonderful day. A dream day. A day of laughter and tears,” her friend and publicist Max Clifford told reporters after the event. “Jade was hilarious with some of the ad libs she made as she said her vows.”
